3 Sided Exposure - Regular Columns With Velcro Attachment

Recommended Panel Configuration & Measuring

An inside hang is almost never recommended. Instead, take advantage of the skeletal structure of your porch with an outside path for regularly-shaped columns, start with one panel for each side.

Only split panels where you need a magnetic doorway to enter and exit. Magnetic doorways for Velcro top attachment work exactly the same way as they do for tracking attachment.

Measurement Tips
  • IMPORTANT: Sum width of all sides = Sum of all panel widths.
  • We will divide your project into at least 1 panel for each side ending panels at corner columns. Any side can be further split for a magnetic doorway but only if you need one.
  • Measure heights at all 4 corners from UNDERSIDE of header beam to floor, since Velcro is side-mounted to some surface.
  • Measure the "widths" of each side ALONG the path the curtain will take WITHOUT ANY overlap. Measure to the 1/2 inch and please be accurate.

Panel Adjustments (Or Use Calculator Below)

Once you have your panel configuration, there are a few panel adjustments to make for each panel. Use our panel calculator below to help with your calculations.

WIDTH ADJUSTMENTS

  • Add another 1-in per 10ft of panel width for relaxed fit.
  • Subtract 1-in for EACH edge connecting a Stucco Strip
  • Add another 1-inch for EACH edge that will snap to some surface
  • Automatically add 2-inches per panel regardless of width

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS

  • If height varies by 2" or less, use taller height
  • This provides 1" of overlap on top and bottom
  • Velcro -- Add 2" to height from bottom of Velcro mounting surface to floor

Simple Panel Adjustment Calculator

This simple panel calculator will make your panel adjustments for each panel, one at a time! Use this calculator by entering the 5 pieces of information required to adjust your panels. Repeat for each panel larger than a stucco strip.

NOTE: If the difference between all 4 heights is less than 1.5-inches, just use the tallest of the 4 heights. If the heights differ more than 1.5-inches, call in your order because we will need to taper the slope.
